City Lighter

At City Lighter, I worked in an early-stage role where I supported both product development and finance. I initially helped build and structure the website, and later supported the transition from a website to a full application by aligning business and user requirements with the development work.

Alongside that, I built financial models, worked on budgeting and forecasting, checked data accuracy across financial reports, and created clear reports for leadership to support planning and funding decisions.

Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business

As a Graduate Assistant at the VCU School of Business from August 2024 to December 2024, I assisted Dr. Brown in teaching problem-solving and analysis courses, both on Zoom and in-person, to enhance student understanding and engagement. I provided one-on-one tutoring sessions to clarify complex concepts and help students succeed in the course. Additionally, I contributed to the preparation of question banks for the finance department, ensuring the material was aligned with course objectives and supported student learning outcomes.

Shake Smart

I worked at Shake Smart, where I gained valuable experience in a fast-paced food service environment. My responsibilities included:

  • Stocking items and ensuring the availability of ingredients

  • Preparing and making a variety of shakes for customers

  • Providing excellent customer service by thanking customers and ensuring they had a positive experience

This role helped me develop strong multitasking and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure. It also emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure customer satisfaction.

Einstein Bros. Bagels

I worked at Einstein Bros. Bagels for three months, where I gained valuable experience in a fast-paced food service environment. My responsibilities included:

  • Dropping and toasting bagels

  • Acting as a line cook and preparing various food items

  • Making a variety of drinks for customers

  • Cleaning and maintaining the store

In this role, I developed strong teamwork skills and became adept at handling multiple tasks efficiently. This experience helped me understand the importance of customer service and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

Ninobi Agro Crops PVT

I analyzed the company’s financial performance by looking at profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flows. I conducted cost, revenue and marginal analysis, identified trends and margins, and recommended ways to improve profitability. I also prepared management reports and built financial forecasts and models in Excel. Plus, i supported the budgeting and forecasting process, monitored actuals versus budget, and explained any variances i found. I used Power BI to create dashboards and visualize key metrics. I worked with cross-functional teams like marketing, logistics, procurement and production to ensure data accuracy and consistency. I even implemented a Balanced Scorecard to define KPIs and strategic goals. Overall, i were presenting executive-ready insights that helped the company make better financial and strategic decisions.

Grace Times and Electronics

My first part-time job was at Graces Times and Electronics, an electronics shop, where I worked during my summer holidays from morning to evening. As a sales staff member, I:

  • Assisted customers with their purchases

  • Provided information about various electronics products

  • Managed the cash register and handled transactions

Working at Graces Times and Electronics introduced me to the retail environment and customer service. It was a great opportunity to develop my communication skills and learn about sales techniques and product knowledge.
